Business & Commercial Law · Beirut
Commercial counsel for the decisions that shape a company.
I advise founders, investors and family-owned groups across Lebanon, France and the Gulf: structuring companies, negotiating the contracts behind them, and closing transactions in English, French and Arabic.

I started my career in the Beirut office of Jocelyn Rahi, and have since spent seven years as legal counsel to companies operating in Lebanon and abroad. That combination shaped how I work: I read a file the way a client does, looking for where the exposure, the leverage and the realistic outcome actually sit.
My practice runs across both litigation and advisory work, and I keep the list of clients short. The person who argues your case is the person who prepared it, at every stage and before every court.
Most of my mandates run across at least two languages and two legal systems. I draft and negotiate directly in English, French and Arabic, so nothing important is lost in a translator's hand-off.

- Practised before the Military Court, handling and managing cases through all stages of litigation.
- Represented and advised six companies in Lebanon and abroad, acting as their legal counsel and attorney.
- Handled a wide range of civil, commercial, real estate and criminal matters, including litigation, legal representation and proceedings before the competent courts.

His confidence and commitment really made a difference.

Before you get in touch
How do you charge?
Most work is either a monthly retainer for ongoing counsel or a fixed fee for a defined scope such as a formation, a financing round or a contract suite. Hourly billing is reserved for disputes and open-ended diligence. You will always have the fee basis in writing before work starts.
Do you take on litigation?
Yes. I appear before the competent civil, commercial and criminal courts, and before the Military Court, and I manage a file through every stage of the proceedings. Where a matter falls outside my practice, I will tell you so and refer you to someone better placed.
Can you work with our existing lawyers abroad?
Frequently. On cross-border matters I act as Lebanese or French counsel alongside your primary firm, or coordinate a small panel of local counsel across jurisdictions and consolidate the advice into a single decision memo.
What happens in the first consultation?
Forty-five minutes, no charge. You describe the situation, I tell you what I think it needs, roughly what it costs and whether I am the right lawyer for it. If I am not, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
Is our first conversation confidential?
Yes. Professional secrecy applies from the first contact under the rules of the Tripoli Bar Association, whether or not you go on to engage me. Please avoid sending documents until we have confirmed there is no conflict.
Let's talk about the matter in front of you.
A first consultation runs forty-five minutes and costs nothing. Message me on WhatsApp and I will reply within one business day.
